Michigan AG forms group to ease implementation of recreational cannabis law
Published 2 mins ago
Michigan’s attorney general has created a marijuana work group to study and reevaluate adult-use marijuana rules and regulations, with the aim of avoiding “the years of uncertainty” that followed the 2008 passage of the state’s medical cannabis law.
According to The Oakland Press, the group, chaired by AG Dana Nessel, will be tasked with making recommendations to state lawmakers, the Department of Licensing and Regulation, law enforcement and others to help ensure proper implementation of Michigan’s recreational cannabis program.
More details on the attorney general’s cannabis working group can be found here.
